Exhibitions
As our name suggests, Borderline Arts is all about art!
We occasionally showcase art from individuals with BPD and their caregivers. The goal is to reduce the stigma associated with BPD and to provide a platform for talented artists to
express themselves.
The purpose of featuring art related to BPD is to encourage open and constructive conversations about the condition. The exhibitions are not intended for self-pity or to dwell on harmful behaviours or symptoms. Instead, they convey vibrant and impactful messages, often infused with humour, from positive and loving individuals navigating life as best they can. Creating and displaying art provides individuals with BPD a sense of worth, purpose, and the opportunity to contribute to something positive.
In late 2017, we organised an exhibition at East Street Arts' temporary gallery space, 'The Spot'. Thanks to V21 Arts, you can now explore this exhibition from the comfort of your own home.
