Whilst the main costs are for the office rent and the website, there is real value in this. Having an office space with a workshop room means we can run our creative groups for adults with BPD, carry out our awareness training, store the artwork for our exhibitions, prepare for our film project, manage the day-to-day running of the charity and much more. Our website is a hub for raising awareness of BPD and breaking down stigma and signposting those needing support to relevant help. This decreases the sense of loneliness for those with the diagnosis and improves treatment for and attitudes towards BPD. It is also a place to celebrate and promote the talent of artists and writers with BPD. We make every effort to keep our overheads as low as we possibly can.
